Bridal Designer Henry Roth

Henry Roth's mix of professional disciplines including bridal design, television hosting and Law has created a man with flair, precision and creative diversity.

Born in Sydney Australia in 1960, Roth went down the legal path graduating from The University of Sydney in 1984. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Law degree.

Upon completing his law degree Roth began his career in advertising, beating out thousands to win a training scholarship at mega Advertising agency BBDO.

In 1986 Roth was head hunted by Australia's largest entertainment company Michael Edgley. As project coordinator, he managed and marketed special events that took him to Perth, Australia and in La Rochelle, France.

In 1987 Henry moved to London continuing to specialize in entertainment marketing, joining Harvey Goldsmith Entertainment - Europe's largest concert promoter.

It was at this time that his dream to make a name for himself developing a company of his own took hold. Roth and his family have always been immersed in fashion. His Mother Aneta Weinreich and his sister Michelle Roth are both Bridal designers. His Grandmother operated a fashion fabrics house in Poland before WW2. His great, great grandmother on his father’s side ran a bridal charity.

Returning to Australia in 1991 he become merchandising Director of his parent’s bridal business Henri Josef, one of Australia’s largest bridal houses co designed with his mother. In 1997 he packed his bags for the "big apple", joining his sister celebrity designer Michelle Roth.

Recognition of the Henry Roth collection has exploded.  Dresses start at $1200 and are entitled "Red carpet glamour without the red carpet price".  Both Henry and Michelle have been extensively featured on the most prestigious Tonight ,Extra The View, Full Frontal Fashion, The Other Half, Discovery Channel, Metro Channel, Inside Edition, Fox and Friends, CNN and many more. Their collections are editorialized in upscale publications including In Style, W Magazine, Vogue, Glamour, Elle and many others.

Roth has authored his first book with his sister Michelle Roth and Sharon Naylor. "Your Day, Your Way" - The essential handbook for the 21st century Bride, through Three Rivers Random House.
